Four Seasons Jimbaran at Jimbaran Bay is located on the southern tip of the island of Bali on the northeast slopes of the Bukit Peninsula. Luxuriously appointed private villas built into a gently terraced hillside named Bukit Permai that literally means "beautiful hill", Four Seasons Jimbaran has spectacular views of Bali's sacred Mount Agung.

Welcoming in the light and scent of the tropics, every villa has separate pavilions for sleeping, living and bathing, a private plunge pool and a secluded garden shower. The two palatial Royal Villas offer the luxury of a personal swimming pool, in addition to a cool plunge pools, Jacuzzi and sauna. Everywhere, the unspoken message is one of privacy and peace.

Four Seasons Jimbaran is only a 15-minute drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport and ideally situated near the legendary Kuta Beach and the Nusa Dua shopping complex.

The spirit of The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Bali flows from cool ocean waters, natural spices and flowers and the healing effects of human touch – incorporating ancient Indonesian traditions and rituals.

With its infinity-edge, the main pool seems to blend with the beautiful bay beyond. Water from the pool cascades over a 7-metre (23-foot) waterfall into the free-form soaking pool below. Hot and cold whirlpools are located nearby. Refreshments and light meals are available to enjoy on the pool deck.

The aerobics studio features a sprung floor, TV monitors with VCRs, a video library and a ballet barre. The gym features an array of cardiovascular machines equipped with TV monitors, including three treadmills, two step machines and a semi-recumbent stationary bike, all equipped with TV monitors, as well as a rowing machine. The gym also provides weight machines and free weights.

Four Seasons is a wonderful base for families. We always welcome our youngest guests with an amenity. Children under 12 can share their parents' room at no extra charge. Help arranging family diversions or babysitting is as close as our ever resourceful Concierge.

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay offers a supervised children's programme. This service is complimentary, and no appointment is necessary. To arrange for meals while children are participating in the programme, parents must order food on their behalf.

Six days a week, the Resort’s unique Asian Cooking School offers classes for the novice and experienced alike. Learn Asia’s culinary secrets under the tutelage of our Executive Chef, then savour the tempting dishes prepared during each session. All classes are restricted to ten participants, for a high level of personal attention.

Managed by world renowned Peter Burwash International, the Resort's facilities include two synthetic grass courts which are lit for night play. A professional instructor is available, and equipment and tennis wear can be rented.

THE RESTAURANT AND BAR

PJ's : The mood at PJ's is always upbeat and casual. Seating on two decks and at the bar provides a clear view of the beach and Jimbaran Bay. PJ's presents an international menu with an emphasis on fish and seafood, wood-burning oven pizza and pasta, as well as a full bar. A children's menu is available, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Taman Wantilan : Perched above the shoreline, Taman Wantilan offers unparalleled views of Jimbaran Bay and Bali's distant volcanoes. The restaurant's unique design features two open-air pavilions with a spectacular view. Taman Wantilan provides a marvelous balance of innovative Indonesian specialties. The dinner menu features the Chef's daily special. A children's menu is available, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Warung Mie : Warung Mie serves exotic Asian noodle dishes on the main wooden deck with its rustic-style railing and on a bale dining area facing a beautiful water garden. A selection of exotic Asian noodles with limited bar selection. There are chef's specials daily. Kid's menu and small portions are available on request.

Pool Terrace Café : Offers a relaxed menu accompanied by a beautiful view of Jimbaran Bay, and features a dramatic free-form pool with cliff-like edge. A terrific selection of salads, sandwiches and Indonesian and Asian favourites. Special children's menu is available on request, as well as dishes with customised children's portions.

Terrace Bar and Lounge : Two adjoining open-air pavilions with a stunning view of Jimbaran Bay. There is an intimate courtyard adjacent to the main pavilions.

In-villa dining : Four Seasons In-Villa Dining is a fine-dining experience within the comfort and convenience of your guest room or suite. Choose from an extensive menu, day or night, ideal for time-zone-hopping travellers, impromptu meetings or for quiet, private dining. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or between-meal snacks may be served in your villa around the clock. All items from the lunch menu are also available during dinner service. For the ultimate in romantic dining, we suggest our Bali by Candlelight dinner. This fabulous four-course dinner for two includes fresh flowers and a bottle of Resort-selected red or white wine.

FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN

Whether yours is just beginning, all grown-up or at any stage in-between, Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is a wonderful base for your family. Children age two to 12 will be immersed into the rich culture of Bali at the Jimba Club, inspired by the turtles that lay eggs on Jimbaran Beach on front of the Resort. Warm Balinese hospitality is provided by well-trained and friendly Resort staff. Children under 12 can share their parents' room at no extra charge.

Children's amenities : Before your stay, simply provide us with the names and ages of the children in your party so that we can be prepared with a welcome amenity for our youngest guests, child-size bathrobes, complimentary baby and children's toiletries, children's menus in our restaurants and In-Room Dining.

Menu creations : Four Seasons prides itself on culinary creativity and offers an extensive array of menus to choose from. If you prefer, we can also completely custom-design a menu for you, along with complimentary beverages. Whatever the wedding event, from an unforgettable ceremony in your villa to an elegant theme party on the beach, our team will assist you or your bridal consultant from planning to execution.

Linens and tabletop décor : Four Seasons offers a basic level of superior linens, cutlery, china and glassware for all banquet tables. Special colours, patterns or designs may be obtained for a nominal rental fee.

Entertainment : The Resort can recommend traditional entertainment to enhance the ambience of both your wedding ceremony and reception.

Transportation : At your request, Four Seasons can arrange local transportation for you or your visiting guests.

Preferred vendors and service coordination : At your request, we can provide a list of recommended vendors for all your wedding needs, from photographers to entertainment. The Resort can also arrange Flower Girls for your special event.

Pre-Function Area : The pre-function area of the Jepun Sari room. This is an open-sided space with a service area and bathroom facilities. The shaded, marble-floored area is ideal for refreshment breaks or a small reception. Adjacent to the Jepun Sari meeting room. The open-sided area features Indonesian carved stone pillars, marble floor and plants.
